Our second card for ANJALI + AMAN wedding invitation project was for the music and dance function. The card was to be sent by the bride's grandparents, they asked for a traditional, sober design. Inspired by the decor for the event, the card front has a lush tree with brass bells hanging on marigold garlands. The birds and the tree are foiled in copper and gold respectively, to complement the marigold and bells. We also had little ghungroos and bells tied on a string as part of the visual language for this card. The invitations were sent out with chocolates as gifts, where we incorporated the card's style onto the chocolate packaging.
